From an idea on King's Day to an app full of rides.

HitchH is the story of a student from Hamme who figured hitchhiking could be smarter.

  1. The idea

    King's Day in Breda

    Mauro (20, from Hamme) is in Breda on King's Day and spots a dozen people from his hometown. Everyone drove separately, nobody together. That had to change.

  2. The build

    Hitchhiking, reinvented

    HitchH was built as an app that makes hitchhiking cool again: no thumbs by the roadside, just smart matching between drivers and hitchers.

  3. The launch

    Summer 2025

    The beta goes live, HitchH partners with Fantasia Festival and makes the press — including Het Nieuwsblad.

  4. The future

    Quality takes time

    A brand-new app version is in the works. We're taking the time to do it right — and you can use the beta today.
